Nice pics, Lynne!
What is that bottom flower?
That's so pretty!
...and by the way...what do you call that color of those flowers? I have a butterfly bush the same color, and I was trying to describe it to someone, and couldn't think of what the color was called.

The top and bottom flowers are autumn joy sedums - same plant, bad camera, Cindy.
Not sure about the color name - it's sorta between a pink and a salmon, isn't it?

Mine isn't that pretty!

Gonna have to go to the crayola website tomorrow when I'm more coherent and take a look into it!

quote:Oh Lynne, those pictures are awesome! Were the top two pictures taken with your new camera? Geesh, the colors are so bright and beautiful and the pictures are extremely sharp!

quote:Actually, Lynne, in the top picture the flower looks very pink to me, rather than salmon!

Thanks so much for sharing these pictures, Lynne!

How 'bout bubblegum pink ?
The top butterfly is a red admiral, and I've never had one of those here, although they should definitely be seen up here! Your pictures are so beautiful

Thanks all!
Patti - those pictures were taken with my old camera - haven't had time for the new one yet.
But that's why I wanted a new one - same plant and the colors came out so very differently!!!
The real color is more like the bottom picture on that particular sedum, though I do have others that are more pink like the top picture.

I just got my crayons out...
The color that comes closest (on my screen, anyway) is fuchsia.
