I have read a few posts about Deer eating Arborvitae shrubs. Living in Minn-we have Deer everywhere. One ate the front of one of my Arborvitae--all around my Christmas lights. They also come in the yard and feast on Acorns under my Oak trees. I discovered a product called "Liquid Fence". It works. I get the pre-mixed -with the attached sprayer. It smells, but when it dries-humans cannot smell it, but the Deer can. Give it a try. I have had success. The Deer have not been back. Hope this helps. Mnglow

I just saw a package of that yesterday at a local nursery.
If you Google it, you may find that it can be ordered online from somebody, too.
