Hello,

I have had a peace lily for about 17 years,it no longer flowers, but that's ok, I like the leaves.
I was just wondering, if it where to flower again, do the flowers develop small seeds that can be planted to grow new plants? Or, does this plant develop a seed-pod somewhere else on the plant and germinate easily?

Thank you for any information! [dunno]

Let me get right down to earth here and tell you that nearly all peace lilies on the market today are hybrids and their seeds would be sterile.

Be happy with the one that you have. If you need another, I suggest you buy one.

Thanks Will!

Nope, not looking for any more peace lilies, there are plenty of smaller ones growing in the same pot with the bigger one. Abouit the seeds, inquiring mind just wanted to know.

Thanks again,
