One of my step daughters bought me a new Orchid. I wanted to share it's picture with the Orchid lovers in the group. I have not seen one like this before. I LOVE [Love] it!! It is a lady slipper orchid.

Is a beautiful orchid. I have one like that and is blooming for the second time. I have mine in a south screened window and is doing great. Very easy to take care of.

keep fertilizing it with orchid fertilizer and keep the soil moist but not wet, and keep it in bright light with little sun and it'll probably bloom within the same week as it orginally wasblooming. thats wat mine doeas

Thanks everyone! Tom your orchid is wonderful also! I [Love] It!

Busy Lady, the bottom is hollow, yes. It is like a cup. Sorry it has taken me so long to respond, I have been really busy as of late.
