Gay Feathers or Liatris are fairly drought tolerant. They don't require a lot of water. They do best in well draining soil in full sun. The only extra water I ever gave mine was when I first planted them. Since then, they do fine on their own and have reseeded like crazy.

Thank you again Alan you have been a real blessing. I think that's my current list. Now I'll just research any types of flowers I get in the exchange and I'll be good to go. This year is going to be so cool.
