i separated 3 pups from my bird of paradise, #1.(2) were cut decently and i put them in the pots the #2.the 3rd one unfortunately lost its roots and came out only as a stump.
#1 do i need to do anything special besides putting them in pots.
#2. i put this in some water and root stimulator to try and make it root. is this the best tactic or is it gone?

thanks,
mark

thanks for the info. so far so good. there is one pup that was cut with no roots, can i stimulate new root growth (where there is none) with water and root stimulator?

thanks,
mark

it is possible with some plants, if there is a leaf node, to stimulate roots. this is a "hit/miss" kind of thing with bop's. but, you have nothing to lose by trying!
