We have a few garden clubs that are trying to change our state flower to a native Indiana one instead of a chinese one. LOL!

It looks like all the other states have native ones. I think they are trying to get the firepink named for Indiana.

rue, from what i understand, cherokee rose isn't native to georgia, but has been here so long that it may as well be. i like having things like that growing, and like to have that info. back before i knew that this site would stay around awhile, i copied and saved almost all bill's collections of info. somewhere there are about a million floppies of this stuff [Big Grin] [Big Grin] [Big Grin] [Big Grin]
