i never feed mine until there planted in there permanent site, and i withold the tom feed until they have set there first truss!
if the plants are looking a bit yellow you could give them a half strength feed of miracle grow.

I'm with Mark!! I've fertilized only once before putting them in the garden, and that was only because we had such a COLD spring last year and my tomatoes were dying to get outside..they were suffering!! I have no plans on feeding my tomatoes anything until they're in the garden...even then I don't mess with them if they're going strong. Why fix something that isn't broken?

I'm trying to grow tomatoes indoors from seed. The seedlings are at the 2-4 leaf stage(got late in starting them). Should I use a tomato feed for them or does regular miracle gro work? Also, when should I start feeding the plants-are they too young right now?
