Weezie was kind enough to point out that I had mis-identified the third photo. It is indeed a Jewelweed rather than a Mimulus as I thought. She also pointed out that Jewelweed is a great remedy for poison ivy, poison oak, stinging nettle, and many insect bites! Mash the Jewelweed's stem and apply the resulting mush to the affected area.....
Thank you Weezie!

*And Hummingbird's LOVE it....
*And if you have a wet spot that NEVER dries up
or damp all the time.
This is a good plant to plant (it will spread a
bit, but it's not hard at all to pull out at all) It's a little weedy, sort of, tall is what I mean,
can be as tall as 4ft. Good back ground, back "40", let it go wild area in your yard.
*And how it spreads is by little seed pods,
and if you have children/grandchilden they will
absolutely LOVE this plant.....
when the pod is really really ready, it'll be
really big, you can almost see the dark seed inside, and if you let the kids just sort of touch it, IT POPPPPPPPPPPS in there hand, and it's
so much fun!!! It has little green springs in~ side that cause it to pop open like that........
Hey, I grew up in the country and entertainment was there, you just had to go find it!!!
I was *still am* easily amused!!!!!!!

Don't forget to be kind to strangers. For some who have
done this have entertained angels without realizing it.
