Same thing happened last year. All year long my money tree was growing like gang busters and now the leaves are turning brown and dropping off. Whatz up?? does that mean another year without a pay increase?? I've done nothing but water it when the top soil dried out. Any ideas???

Hi AppleBytes,
Has anything changed since last year? How much light does it receive? Was it outdoors for the summer, then returned indoors? Did you repot? Is it only the older bottom leaves coloring and dropping? Does the plant still produce new growth? Have you checked for pests? How far down do you allow the soil to dry before watering?
Yikes, I ask lots of questions, don't I, but the answers will help to define the problem.

And if you have a photo to post, that would be helpful, too.
