I've had a weeping fig for a few years now. I moved a few months ago. I moved the plant to what I thought would be its permanent position in an east-facing window. (Before they were in a north facing window.) I know weeping figs will drop leaves when they're disturbed or if the temperature is off, but it seems to be a consistent temperature and the leaf-drop hasn't abated. Does anyone know what else might be the problem?

I'll take a stab at this, but I'm no expert on houseplants. #1)shock from the move. #2)overcompensating for the move by overwatering?
A little more info. might help? [dunno]

erinne, it can take several months for a ficus benjimina to aclimatize to it's new location. in the mean time, if you rotate it a quarter turn once a week, that will help it get happy faster.
