Hi there! [wayey]
I have a scheffelera/schefflera which I bought last year...or the year before... [dunno]
anyway, it is lovely, growing tall and healthy...but, it is ONLY growing tall. Is there anything I should do/could do to make it branch out and get bushy? I have put three stakes around it to hold it up, it is getting too tall for its own good, and it is only one stalk. No branches whatsoever.
Thanks in advance!

amie, if it makes you feel better, the top is rootable. there are two ways to do it. one it to put the very top (2 or 3 leaf sets) in water or put it in good soil after dipping it in rooting hormone. if you go the water method, you have to change the water every week or so, or the stem will rot.
