A while ago my mum's fern was nearly drown in water, the next day it was baked in the sun, and a few days after that it was eaten by my cat! It was reduced down to a few leaves. It has now grown a little more but still seems unhealthy. Any tips?

Ferns need lots of bright indirect light, evenly moist soil, and a stable environment. Your fern has been through plant hell, so be patient!

It's by a window that is shaded partway by blinds when the light is very strong, it is watered whenever it's dry. I'll remember that I need to be patient. I'm concerned because a few weeks after the final attack there were alot of new leaves, now there is no new growth, or even recent growth. The older leaves arn't unhealthy however.
