ivy roots

Hi Apples,
I don't grow Ivy, but I did a bit of search and found very little info on Needle Point Ivy. Because it is in the Hedera helix family, it may have similar growth pattern as the other ivy(s).

For serching and stuff. I've learnt a bit more since I first posted this but still unshure of the roots. I only ask because I'm training one into a bonzai and am currious as to how often I will have to root prune. If all fails I'll just have to look in the pot every once and while!
