I've started some orange honeysuckle up lattice and was thinking of mixing in morning glory for a short-term covering boost. Will I regret this when the honeysuckle mature?
Thanks!

LOL! I have no idea!

Some of the neatest ideas are from people who have experimented with plantings.

My experiment right now is:

Last year towards the end of summer I planted a clematis in my private hedge. I can`t wait to see if it works.

Wow Rue, I'm following you today,
I agree with Rue here too!!!!!

EXPERIMENT!!!
Really, it's all in the mix...

You never know what you're going to end up with.
Maybe try 3 total, one on one end, one in the middle, one on the other end.

The morning glories may benefit from the shade of the clematis.

Also, there's some more annual vines that I can think of.....
Try one or two of these too....................

Scarlet Runner Bean
Hyacinth Bean
Climbing Nasturtiums
Cardinal Climber
Black Eyed Susan
Sweet Peas
Cypress Vine (*these can self seed in warmer climates.*)

Ziggythefish,
LOVE THE NAME< DO TELL WHERE YOU GOT IT FROM????
Do you have fish????

LOL! Ziggy is my clown trigger fish. I started a saltwater aquarium 2 years ago and ended up with ziggy the trigger, coward the lionfish and 3 yet-unnamed eels (I just call them all slimy!)

I'll start my climbing experiment and post my experience (good or bad) in the fall! Thanks all!
