I just purchased a nice Pothos and I don't see much of a difference between it and my Heart Leaf Philodendron. Should they receive pretty much the same care?

I agree is not much difference.yep their care is the same.
I actually seen some of the heatleaf phild.... in walmart..with lable and thought it was mis labled so came home& looked it up online..was shocked.is really not that much difference.

I will age ungracefully until I become an old woman in a small garden..doing whatever the Hell I want!

Pothos are sometimes variegated with yellow or white. Philos are always deep green.
Pothos are quite a bit hardier than philos. Pothos leaves, stems and roots are thicker. They grow faster and are more forgiving.
Their care requirements are virtually identical.
