Hi all. I bought some new plants yesterday and while planting these I had to dig up and re-situate some others. These others were 2 of my gerbera daisies. Since re-positioning them, I have watered them morning and night and the beautiful blooms that they had have wilted. I thought that by keeping them moist and giving them time throughout the day that it would bring them to life again. But, this evening the blooms are still wilted. Should I just remove the blooms and stop trying to save them? It hurts me to see this....they were so beautiful.

Hi Krazboutflwrs,
I think your plants are into shock. Cut back some of the leaves but not all and the blooms to save some energy. Make sure there is no air pockets under their roots by pressing the soil a little bit around them.

and cut the watering to once a day. you don't want to drown them, and morning watering is best.
