Hi all,

The red miniature snapdragon plants are not comming back at all well after the summer dormant period. The foliage is green but it is sparse? I can see the stems between the leaves and that wasn't how it was this spring. And it isn't blooming at all. The yellow which is right next to it is doing better although not great in my estimation.

They are in dappled sunlight since it has been so hot down here this year and they seemed to love it this spring. I water them daily because the clay soil drains really quickly. They are mulched with grass clippings to try to retain some of the water. I have fertilized every 2 weeks since the beginning of fall so I've done it twice so far. I use miracle gro all purpose plant food at half strenght. Can someone help me with them please. I really don't want to loose them one day earlier than I have to.

Tammy,
Are they in the ground or a container?

And where, in proximity to a house foundation
are they?

They are in the ground near the retaining wall. Nothing is near a structure.
