Peace lilies don't go dormant. Go ahead and remove brown and yellow leaves as they are dead and dying.
If you post detailed information about your peace lily care regime, including light, watering, pot size, last repotted, use of fertilizers, and anything else you can think of, we'll be better able to help you. If possible, a photo is also helpful.

Peace Lily..........
That is strange, I was ready to throw mine out ..
SO I set it by the kitchen sink and added water, day later I see a blossom coming out>>>>>>.Heard they like lots of water......
Now I am not sure, if it stays or goes.. it didnt go dormant.. just dragged its feet all winter till last week..

My peace lily is going dormant. Should I be actively cutting off the yellow and brown leaves? Or will the pruning spark growth, therefore not allowing it to go into it's dormancy peacefully?
