Tonite I made up a version of Pasta salad , without meat......I dont eat meat fridays.

Cooked the Macroni till done.......Pour off he water .
Put it into a bowl and added Olive oil .
Then I added Parsley, chopped cheese chunks and
Italian Dressing.....

Wow it was yummy.......

Now anyone else have a method of making those?
Would you share it with me?

thanks

i'd add in some chopped broccoli, sunflower seeds and a small can of tuna, shrimp, salmon or sardines, too.

also, more than one type of cheese...to give a variety of tastes/textures: sharp, creamy, mild, sweet

Thanks , sounds great......First time it worked for me.

DO you put Olive oil on it before salad oil? I was watching some Italian cook, I think and she seemed to do lots with Olive oil.....
We love tuna and salmon and that should stretch it more..

Do you do the summer one with hard meat in it ?

Thanks

I like to put chopped green onion, tomato and bellpepper in it and use Italian Dressing.
This whole thread is going to wind up 'saved' in my Recipe file!!! [thumb]
