America climbing rose

I bought an American Climbing rose and can't decide where to put it. We have a gazeebo with a hot tub inside (which doesn't work). Would the climbing rose do well around the outside of it?

If there is plenty of sunshine and a place to train it, I don't see any reason why you couldn't put it there.

speaking of training roses, how do i do that? never had one to train before, now i have two!
