Man, I always thought I lived in the "woods" growing up, but sites like that I never got to see!!!

Bill that first pic is really neat. I would love to see something like that but here in the flat land of Texas you just dont' see pretty things...
Only thing Texas has that no other state has is hot and humid weather...
Can anyone beat the temp we had yesterday....107

Nice pics Bill!
I could shoot myself... a few years ago i had the opportunity to buy property in the same county where i live. It had waterfalls just like that on 19 acres of land. It was in a remote area. That mountain stream weaved in and out throughout the entire property which was heavily wooded. The property had 2 homes on it. Both were located alongside a mountain stream. The man had built several out- buildings (i think he used rough sawn cypress or locust). There was a big grassy clearing area where the stream snaked through.There were waterfalls and shallow pools in rock where the water gently passed through. It was perfect for swimming.
I could have bought everything (homes,land, and all) for $200,000! I didn't persue it because it was so far out, but it was truly amazing...
