I took me a trip in the woods this morning to get me some taro,being is dried up back there now is a swamp area runs through woods but is dry june-aug..anyways I spied a mule deer and wanted a closer look,took my shirt& shovel and as got closer to creek(he was drinkng,water)I spied red on a green plant.well I HAD to check it out.And found this arum growing.I missed its flowering.I didn't check on tarro sooner.I got 4 plants in my 5 gallon backet.curse cause didn't take camera.took bucket& shovel back to where tarro growing get me some tarro carry a NOW heavy bucket of plants(I keept rootballs intact& seeds too boot and took one seed pod that plant had dried up on)broke my pick axe handle will need a new one.holding head to beat ground makes hand sore after awhile and when hit thick roots from trees. so does anyone grow this? my leaves are solid green . my seeds a orangeish-red

my gardenbook says is hardy to zone 6.it says can be grown from fresh seed in greenhouse.So gotta find seed info now.
