I know the 2 don't go together...but I came across 2 wonderful recipes for each of them the other day, and they both came out fantastic.

The sangria was soo good, I wanted to drink the whole pitcher myself!

Here are the links to each, if anyone is interested..I've made brownies tons of times before, but this time they came out amazing...

i couldn't check the link for the sangria but i'll share mine....

1 (750ml) bottle dry red wine (found out the cheaper the better)
1/2 cup fresh squeezed OJ
1/2 unpeeled lemon, sliced
1/2 peeled navel orange, sliced
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup brandy
1/2 cup orange liqueur

put wine, juice, and fruit slices in a heat proof pitcher. bring sugar, water, brandy and orange liqueur just to a simmer in a small saucepan, stirring until sugar is dissolved, then pout into pitcher. cover and chill at least 1 hr and up to 24.

i've made it in the morning and had it later that night and it was good. i also vary the fruits. i always odd the OJ but might buy an extra whole orange to slice. i've put sliced mango in it and peaches too. and berries were good too- i think i had raspberries once. whatever fruit is ripe at the moment when i go shopping is fine.
