I seem to be having a really, I mean really hard time getting rid of this fungus in my garden. It starts out bright yellow, then turns pale yellow, then brown. When I put a fungus killer on it it becomes a reddish/brown. Here's the problem (other than having fungus in my garden), the fungus is spreading, climbing up on stones, attaching itself to my plants, etc. How can I get rid of this??? I think it might be spreading through my mulch by ants. When I tried removing some of it I found a colony of ants. Could the ants be spreading the fungus or is the fungus spreading by itself?

Hopefully someone knows how to get rid of my annoying problem! It only appears in the front garden which has morning sun but shade in afternoon. I haven't watered in almost two weeks and my plants are showing it.

Please help me

I am not that much of an expert on Mulches...
but I have had that stuff...
Does it look like this stuff here???
Click here for *(Myxomycetes)* /"Dog Barf on Bark /Slime Mold.

If it's similar to this..
it lives on and in decaying things..
and to my understanding doesn't hurt anything,
*other than the site of it.*

Do you have a picture of yours *if the above is not it??*

That's exactly what it looks like. Thanks for the article, I'll read it over and hopefully I can get myself rid of this.

I've had it before..
and nothings' ever become of it..
I just leave it alone and the piles
dry up on their own...

But mine haven't moved or gone over to other things.. thats' new to me and would like to hear more about it...
So, I hope you keep [gabby] us posted [critic] on this,
cause we like to hear updates [gabby] on how things
turn out... [thumb] Good [angel] or bad [devil] that's how we learn [teacher]
