I'm not laughing at you..But with you, as I just went through this same exact thing last week. It is a real pain to remove all the cat hair, I first used a soft bristled brush, and gently brush the cactus off first and hand picked what was left, then I turned it upside down under running water and rinsed if off good. Isn't that the truth comfrey? LOL! I plan to use a soft toothbrush and get some more of the fur off. Funny thing is they have done it with one of my other cactus too and that one has some sharp pokers on it.... well, actually it's missing a lot of them lately and I'm surprised I haven't heard the cats complaining about it

Well maybe the "pokers" don't bother the cats like it does us. And they like it as a grooming tool...In fact they probable think that we put it there...Just for them to groom on it.

The second picture is some of the cat fur I have gotten off the cactus, along with a whisker.
