when do i prune my peach tree. it has peaches on it now but obviously i cant prune it now. i know that they are supposed to be pruned back but never did that... do i prune in the fall and exactly how much should i prune? My peaches are the size of a gofball right now and i am so excited! i've never had a peach right off a tree before! thanks

prune to keep the tree a manageable size so that you can reach the fruit
