i have a 4-5ft magnolia that was thoughtlessly planted in a corner behind a pine tree. i want to move it to the side of my house but i'm not sure the best way to attack it. what time of year should i do it? how much do i need to dig around it?

thanks in advance for help!

missy, i don't have the slightest clue as here in the south, they don't transplant well at all. you almost have to put a container grown one it for it to work. but i know that up north, they are a little easier to move...
