Tk thanks! How simple is that!!! I already put on a reciepe card and is in the plans for Sunday with meatloaf! YUMMMMMMMMMY!
btw do you need to "butter" the casserole dish??

a little butter never hurts lol. But I might use the spray stuff instead.

tk ....I made the p&chs casserole with the meatloaf , My daughter and grkids stopped by (How convienant just as we sat down to eat LOL), I got maybe two tablespoons of casserole
which of course means this reciepe is a keeper,,, the grnd sons LOVED it,, as did Hubby,,, Thanks!! glazed sweetpotatoes and apples are next sunday.. may not answer door bell next Sunday

Search The Garden Helper:
8 potatoes
1/2 cup milk
1 cup heavy cream
salt and pepper to taste
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1 1/2 cups grated swiss or cheddar cheese
Peel & boil potatoes until tender. Drain & mash adding milk as you go. Stir in cream, eggs & cheese. Season with salt & pepper. Put in casserole dish. Bake in preheated 450F oven for 15 minutes until golden brown.
Yield: 6 servings
