Not sure if I'm in the right category here, so please bear with me.
I have 2 different banana trees, specifics are unknown, but both have little trees coming off the mother plant. Any special care I need to take when cutting them from the mother? And, any specific size they need to be before I do this?
Thanks a bunch, dishmanlady

Take a sharp spade and slice vertically down between the sucker and the parent. That way you'll get some roots with the sucker. Any size is ok but Smaller is better as they'll demand less from the little root system. Trim any excessive leaves off bigger suckers. Water frequently. Give a drink of seaweed or kelp extract before and after transplanting.
