We actually have a Rose of Sharon in the back, but ours blooms in the next few weeks. We really would like something that blooms mid summer.
We did go looking for the Beautyberry but they told us they are not in just yet and to come back in a month, but then tracked us down in the nurserie and told us they had so many requests for Beautyberry that they would bring in a few in the next week.

Search The Garden Helper:
I am looking for a shrub for the front of my house that gets some afternoon sun.
I presently have a huge rhododendron there now that flowers sometime this month I believe and appears to be healthy so I am assuming the soil is good.
I would also like to put a few other shrubs with this that flower at different times during the summer. I will put a hydrangea as this blooms in August but I am stumped for something in July.
