I go ahead and sort and clean mine (as clean as I can get them which is not as clean as TK can), and put mine in tiny zip lock bags (like buttons come in) or in the cute seeds envelopes and seal them. I keep mine in the house so they don't get moist.

I am putting mine in a plastic box like shoe boxes and putting them in the garage to freeze till about february......
Then into the house .....My green thumb room and the fun begins with seeds.........
If your seeds are good and dry.....Plastic containers keep rodents out.

lol @ Bestofour,
I know I'm obsessive compulsive aren't I. But being on disability I'm home all day with nothing to do. So separating chaf from the seeds keeps me busy. And it's such a good excuse not to clean up the house lol.

I'm with you on that TK. Cleaning seeds is more fun and more important than cleaning the house.
Should I put my seeds outside for the cold too?

I plant the perennial seeds outside in the fall. I keep my annual seeds in a dark, dry place inside-in a cupboard in my hall!
