Today I tasted my first Sungold mater.

HOLY HAND GRENADES BATMAN.....that was a blast of flavor! [shocked] [shocked] [thumb] [thumb] [grin]
I think I will put a chair next to my plants and camp out for the next one to ripen. Instant addiction!

My Lucky Leprechauns were a surprise also. Great tangy flavor. [thumb]

And too think that before I found this website, I just thought that a tomato was a tomato!! [Big Grin] Now I know better! Those are some awfully pretty looking mators, you got there. I'm envious.

I found that out last year when I finally grew some heirloom tomatoes. I've got the Frankenstein syndrome going now! I think this is a slippery slope I am sliding down... [thumb]

All 4 of my LL plants have produced that heavy. The fruits were coming along great until they were hit with a heavy thunderstorm the other day. Nearly all the fully ripened fruits split. You can see 2 of the splits in the picture.
