well, i survived the invasion and so did ALL of my rosebushes...even those that were newly transplanted. [clappy]

boy, they are such nasty buggers!!! they were eating EVERYTHING...put a trap up and i don't know if it helped any, but i sure got rid of a few thousand [shocked] of them!!!

i think i'm just going to invest in the milky spore...my yard isn't all that big and i know my neighbors on either side won't mind me putting some of the spore down on their lawns (so i won't have to wait a couple of years for it to spread out naturally).

i investigated it a bit and meant to do a treatment mid-summer and then again in the fall...been so busy, it'll just be the fall treatment - but, better than nothing.

hope everyone else that was having a problem with them this year also faired as well as i did!!

Yes, Japanese Beetles were REALLY bad this year. They certainly enjoyed feasting on my Hibiscus and Crepe Myrtle.
