I've read the replies in archives about problems
Pachira can have. I have one of these plants which is potted in a 4" pot. It was beautiful at one time. The garden center informed me that this plant could stay in this small pot for 2 years, and to fertilize with fish fertilizer, which I have done to no avail. The plant seems to be dying before my eyes and I don't know what to do. The leaves are browning and falling off.
Can I get a little help? [dunno]

Are you maybe "babying" it too much? I have had mine for a year and it still looks great. I have only given it a little MG fertilizer. I water probably once a week and have it on my kitchen bar where it doesn't receive any bright light.

By the way, welcome to the forum. Jump right on in and have fun.

Do you have to keep them in a pot? If I remember correctly (and am thinking of the same "money tree plant) My mom had several planted in the yard and did very little to them and there got pretty darn big! Can you post a pic?
