Hmm... I didn't think about the squirrels, Bill. But I have two of the most "barkingest" dogs around, so I should have no problem.

OK maybe I will keep to buying them .. I have a ton of squirrels ... would they grow in containers ?? then you could put wire over the top??? might work..

I feed my squirrels to keep them away from my plants. And I keep a shallow pot saucer for their water.
The babies are cute right now, but boy they sure don't stay cute. Garden marauders is more like it.
I feed wild birdseed and old bananas and old bread.
It's only to protect my plants, and it works so I guess it works out for everyone.
