I do believe the Mondo Grass is a plant I found in my lawn (speaking very loosely), and I replanted it to my rock/cactus garden 'cause I think it's pretty. I love living in the Trans-Pecos area which is high desert. Thanks for the pictures, they're great!!! Jane

Will I have to bring my purple grass in for the winter? I'm in central Oklahoma. I think that is zone 7. I just planted it this year. And I have one in a pot, will I have to bring it inside for winter?

quote:Mulch the grass in the garden and it should be fine, but I would bring the potted grass indoors or bury the planter up to the rim in the garden and mulch it.

I really like the Fountain Grass, it's something I'm going to lookin forward in finding around my local garding store. OR find it the the garding catologs I get every year and monthly and compare prices on this amazing looking grass. Thanks for presenting these to us.
