garden, catching bugs and rodents...

That's a Garter Snake that was sunning on top of my compost pile. He's about 24 inches long...
Garter Snakes may not be the cuddliest of critters but they eat a lot of slugs around here, so they are always welcome!![[clappy]](im/graemlins/clappy.gif)
