I need help with carnation buds rotting befor blooming can ya'll help??

Mine did the same.. I think it is from all the water ... Mine did not seem to like it at all.. I shook it off every morning and it seemed better.. you could try

Do you have them carnations in an area where the water drains off the roots?
I do and I have no problem with them..Bloomed just as pretty as a florist plant..........Just started them from seeds in the spring.
They do have rich soil.
