Has anyone overwintered a cigar plant indoors?
It's scientific name is Cuphea ignea.

I have been trying to grow this plant allllllll summer - despite the numerous times the deer have made dinner out of it!!! [Mad] It's pretty cropped right now, which is fine for bringing it indoors - just wondered if anyone has ever been successful in doing so?

Here's a link to what it is...

That's such a nice plant, Lynne...
isn't it a shurb though?
Well, I think it will die if you leave it out, not sure-just an opinion-, so I suppose your best bet would be to bring it inside...

Good luck with it, Lynne! [thumb]
