Hello, Last year i had a time with grasshoppers and snails killing my plats does anyone have a way to kill them? thanks

The big problem with grass hoppers is the fact that there are so many of them. Treating the plant systemically with something like Merit will take care of the critters that eat your plants, but there are lot more right behind them to take their place. Maybe some fine mesh netting (?)
As far as snails and slugs go try placing a shallow pie pan or an old frisbie near your plants and fill it with beer. This will attract them and they go for a swin and die with little smiles on their faces

Are you sure Merit is labeled for grasshoppers? Merit (imidacloprid) is an expensive product and you want to use it sparingly. Resistance has already been seen in white fly and concerns are there that it will develop in other insects.
