I have a raised bed of native Montana grasses and flowers that I need to replant to another raised bed, becuase of new neighbors in our duplex (whole other story..ugh). I'm wondering when I can transplant them?
I would like to get it transplanted before the winter, for fear of the new neighbors ruining my bed. All of the plants in the bed are pretty much done blooming, but it's still pretty hot here. I was thinking of waiting until mid-september, anyone know if that is OK or not?

I would wait until fall, not sure when that is in your area, but give your plants at least 6 weeks to adjust to their new home before frost.

Laura, I usually will only move my plants in the spring or fall when it's cooler. I'm in zone 5 and we've had some really hot temperatues here this summer.
