I was trimming a few "dead" areas off of my rosebush and noticed that some of the branches were hollow. [shocked] Not sure what caused this. It wasn't just the dead part, because I trimmed it into healthy plant to make sure I got all the dead and the green part was hollow as well. Why?

I could use some help with a hubrid tea that has something is eating the leaves but there is still a "skin" left where the leaf used to be. Its like its eating the chlorophyl and nothing else. Maybe its the same thing Tonya.

Scroll down to cane borer, that may be the culprit in your case.
