Can you guess what we used for a pond skimmer?
I can see the light at the end of the tunnel [thumb]

I showed Andy your photos the other night...kind of leading in to telling him that we needed something like that here.
So...the moment finally came and I said "You know, we have a perfect spot for a pond thing happening out there by the driveway. You know, a little stream thing going down some rocks into a little pond, with 3 or 4 ducks. And we can fence the side yard in and get that goat I've been wanting, and it would easy since we have a backhoe and you know all about that kind of stuff (trying to play on his manly knowledge thing, you know), and actually we could have it kind of starting at the front yard and meandering into the rocks going down the hill into the pond...."
I think I got a little carried away, maybe with the ducks or the goat. Not sure. But, he wasn't real receptive to the idea I guess, since all he said was "Who do you think's getting kicked off Survivor tonight?"

Cindy,

Tell Andy, what a great sense of humor he
has, that's funny, that's exactly something my
husband would say!!!

I say the same thing about the goats and the ducks. I would love to have just a couple of them, and a couple chickens.

But I live in town, so my husband knows he's safe.

Weezie-
We used a blue storage tub, cut one side down to attach the liner. [grin] You can see the lid to it on the top waterfall, just gonna cover it with flagstone.

[shocked] Wow that is awesome....that isn't just a pond...it looks like a jacuzzi and swimming pool size.

I still have a bare location picked out and it is on a hill...one of these days I am going to build it....Have to do a lot of research first....and labor of me, myself, and I it could take awhile. I just love the sound of running water.

Excellent job on the pond!!! [thumb] Did you put any fish in it? That would be a lot more work with all the cleaning of fish poo~doo!

I will keep you in mind when I am ready to get started building....and believe me I will have LOTS of questions for you! [Roll Eyes]
