Help! I cannot figure out why my snapdragons are dying. I bought a 1 gallon snap and placed it in my front yard and it started to die, so I moved it to the north side of the house (my house faces west) so it could recieve morning sun and less wind and it isn't doing any better. I made sure it has drainage as we have a medium clay soil in this part of the yard - to no avail. Anyone have any ideas?

Also, the grasshoppers are eating my tulips. What is the safest thing to use to deter them? I prefer organic gardening, and we have a well - so I would like to avoid pesticides if possible!

Thanks!
