crown of thorns

i have read plenty of helpful tips and ideas about crowns here...but i do have a question....do they prefer to be root bound....or do they like the "leg" room....??thanks all in advance...

kirsten I have 3 Crown of Thorns two are about 18 inch's tall. While not an expert I would think that maybe root bound would be good for them although mine are far from being root bound. If you bought it and it is a very small pot I would transplant into a little bigger pot . I did and mine are doing good. Remember they grow real slow and do not take a lot of water. Good Luck.
