Hello,
I've been growing an avocado seed in a pot for about half a year. It's grown very nicely, but lately I noticed that the tips of its lives have withered.
I took pictures of a few leaves and if anyone knows how I can help it, I'd be grateful to know. The pictures can be found in: http://xthost.info/itayperl

Many thanks in advance,

Itay

maybe too much water. dig down to the roots & see if they are soggy.

I love the sweet scents wafting in the breeze. I stop to admire the vibrant colors of all living things. And people think me odd. Then ODD I am!!!

Well, also if it has been growing in THAT pot for a year, you might want to start thinking of repotting. Might be root bound. You need to check the roots anyway so tip it out of that pot and check for wetness and whether it is root bound or not. YOu have to remember, Avocado is a TREE--needs lots of room for the roots to grow which tend to extend outward from the tree. Also this in natural environment gets QUITE tall!!
