Alan,
I heard on the news last night,
that area was +20 higher than it's normal temps
for this time of year!!!!
It is unusual weather we're having.
We had alot of snow early last night,
a 1/2" layer of sleet on top of it during
the night when we slept, and all day today
it rained.....
And nowwwwwwww it's dropping in temps again,
and refreezing on the roads...
Enjoy your time in the garden Alan...(*enjoy it for us too up here will ya!!!!)

Two days ago it was nice enough so I went out to the front lot and cleaned out around a tree then arranged some sticks around it.
Then the snowstorm moved in - it moved out fast though - the temperature's going up and environment Canada claims it will be 15 celsius by Wednesday - oh boy!

It has been in the 70's in this area. I have been taking my lil' Jack Russell out to play while wearing shorts. For the next five days, it looks like we are going to have the same kind of temperatures with only 20% chance of rain over the week-end.

I've been really worried about my plants with this weird weather, we have 2 warm days and 3 cold days and then have 3 warm days and 2 cold days. What are my poor plants thinking.

I try to take one day at a time -- but sometimes several days attack me at once.

After having temps in the 60's for several days and a few in the low 70's, we are now going to have temps in the teens for lows and 30's for highs. My hydrangreas had started to leaf out which means the freeze will kill the flowering buds...so I may not get any blooms this year. One good thing did come out of the warm weather...I was able to get an irrigation system put in the front yard and garden areas. They are supposed to put a new water meter in Tuesday so I'll have more pressure, but the low is supposed to be extremely cold so we'll see if they actually do it.

Belinda, I know what your going thru with the weather in Ark. Here is Louisiana we are having the same and my poor rose bushes outside are taking a beating! They can't decide what they need to do because of this weather!
Oh well, it will be spring...YEA!! That means less interneting and more gardening!
