Hi Don,
The first and last picture is Syngonium podophyllum - Butterfly nephthytis or Arrowhead philodendron. It's a low light plant.

The second and third picture appears to be some type of philodendron, similar to this one. This is another low light plant.

The damaged leaves appear to be sun scald. Were these plants in direct sun in a window or outdoors?

When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.

Greetings from SUNNY and HOT (but rainy today) Arizona!
I wanted to ask a few questions to all you gurus of the vegetable kingdom, first, what plants do I have? I was given these as gifts but so far the net hasn't proven to be of much help. Check the pics, and second, a few weeks ago I noticed that the leaves of my plants started to show the following condition, any ideas?
Let me know if you need further information.

THANK YOU so much!
