can i start a rubber plant from cuttings and if so how do i do it?

welcome to the garden helper... i can answer that one!! (i'm kinda thick headed these days... )
to start a rubber plant (ficus elastica) you need a cutting that has some new growth at the end, and about 4-5 leaves...(you can do it with less, i just like the "insurance")
cut it just below a leaf joint, strip that leaf off, dip it in rooting hormone and stick it in a pot of moist potting soil. don't let it get too dry, but don't keep it soggy. soggy will rot it before it can root.
